I have a degree in biological sciences at Universidad Nacional del Sur. I did my undergraduate thesis evaluating pollinators dependance of exotic species of Sierras de la Ventana grasslands. During my career I have participated in different university projects related with biodiversity conservation of pampas grasslands and I have collaborated in studies of arthropods in agroecosystems.
Currently, I am doctoral fellow in CONICET and I am doing a doctorate in Biology at Universidad Nacional del Sur. My thesis project evaluates biological and ecological aspects of Calafate (Berberis microphylla), a Patagonian native plant with agrarian and commercial interest because their comestibles fruits. I will evaluate how the pollination and herbivory on this species responds to different management of the soil, particularly to fertilization. With this project I pretend to promote the use of native species in agroecosystems.
